A long run of burgundy leather under a polished brass rack is one of the most recognisable images in hospitality. The Brasserie Rail recreates it for bars and bistros that need dense, comfortable wall seating.
The back is divided into five horizontal bands, each finished with brass stud heads at the seams. Above it, a double brass rail on four brackets gives guests somewhere for coats, bags and hats, which keeps aisles clear on busy nights. The brass capping along the top of the back runs the full 94.5 in (240 cm) length without a joint; short spliced capping is the first thing that makes a banquette look cheap.
