Window lines, column walls and the back of a bar are often too shallow for a standard booth and too valuable to leave empty. A counter-height booth puts seats there: higher, shallower and paired with a 36 in (91 cm) counter table.
This model uses wide horizontal channels in cognac leather, with an ebony-stained base and an aged-brass footrail mounted about 10 in (25 cm) off the floor, so guests have somewhere to rest their feet at this height. The raised position also gives guests a better view of the room, which is why these seats tend to fill early.
