A lounge group works best when the table sits slightly below the seats around it, so drinks are within reach without guests leaning forward. This table is about 15 in (38 cm) high and 31.5 in (80 cm) across, right for three or four club chairs.
The top is a 1.5 in (4 cm) travertine slab that overhangs the base. The frame is matte black steel: a top ring, a floor ring and flat uprights between them, leaving the centre open so the table looks light even with a heavy stone top.

Travertine is porous by nature; we seal it before shipping, and recommend coasters and periodic resealing in a busy bar. Other stone, solid timber or brass tops are available.
