The Ball-Foot Chaise is the piece for the space a full sofa will not fit: the corner by the fireplace, the end of a booth run, the quiet spot beside the humidor. The back rises high at one end and tapers down along the seat, so one guest can recline while a second perches comfortably at the open end.
Shown in black and in cognac leather. The kidney-shaped seat sits on three turned timber ball feet in a dark walnut-tone stain, which give it a lighter footprint than a plinth and stay visible in low light.
Construction
- Hardwood frame with plywood shaping for the curved seat
- High-resilience foam seat with a soft wrap; layered foam back
- Leather upholstered in panels with welted seams
- Solid timber ball feet, fixed through the frame
Because it is shorter than a sofa it pairs naturally with two club chairs and a small drum table to make a complete four-seat group. We can build the back on the left or right and adjust the length to suit your plan.
